As you may well have noticed, updates to Cinescene have been sporadic at best over the past few months. There are a number of reasons, but the best is simply to say that Cinescene and its contributors have been experiencing some growing pains. It has always been our intention to provide you honest and insightful reviews, commentary, and articles relating to all things cinematic, and it is in that light that we have continuing to take steps to improve our format, schedule, and overall content..

Beginning May 18, Cinescene will update bi-weekly on Friday mornings. Different aspects of the site will change periodically over the next few weeks, small changes at first, with much larger ones to come over the summer, but our commitment and focus will not. We appreciate your continued patience, and look forward to continuing to bring you the best we have to offer in cinematic writing. Thanks for your continued patronage and support
