THE SUCK
SENSE
by Rolando Recometa
I
see bad movies. I see them all the time. I see them everywhere. They're
bad and they don't even know it. One such movie is UNBREAKABLE.
I know because I have the suck sense.
I see possible spoilers ahead. They're everywhere and you won't even
know it. Unbreakable is M. Night Shyamalan's must-see follow-up
to The Sixth Sense. I see The Sixth Sense in Unbreakable.
I see it everywhere. I see Bruce Willis. He's not dead but I see dead
acting. I see bad actors. I see them all the time. They're bad and they
don't even know it. Willis is one such actor. I see two expressions:
squint and smirk. I see them all the time. In Unbreakable I see
him trying to be un-bruce-able. I see one expression instead. I see
blank gaze for two hours. I see dead pupil. He's depressed all the time
and he doesn't know why. Is it because he sees bad people? He doesn't
even know it until he sees Samuel L. Jackson.
Jackson
sees Willis and he knows it. He sees comic books. He sees them all the
time. He sees comic book characters everywhere. He sees dead people,
too, but we're not supposed to know it until the end. I see twist ending
coming. I see slow pace. I see people whispering. I see them everywhere.
They're whispering and they don't even know it. I see M. Night Shyamalan
in one scene. I should've known.
I see twist endings. I see them all the time. I see them everywhere.
Many of them are bad and they don't even know it. But when they're good,
I know it. The Sixth Sense is good. I see the ending and I want
to see the rest of the movie again. I see Unbreakable and I see
dud ending. Jackson sees dead people, too. He sees to it, you see. I
knew it.
I see exits. I see them all the time. I see them everywhere. They're
there and you should know it.
I see dead grosses in the future.
